Helen has extensive experience as a BVI director having worked in the BVI financial services industry since 2002 in a wide range of sectors including insurance, fund administration, corporate services, liquidations, insolvency, compliance, accounting and DeFi. She has provided independent director services to regulated and non-regulated entities since 2012. In particular, Helen is recognised for her financial oversight, compliance and regulatory expertise. 

Directorships: Director appointments over the last fifteen years have included acting as a non-executive director for a high profile BVI trust company, director of multi-billion dollar international group and as director of regulated and non-regulated entities including investment managers, insurance, leasing and financing and DeFi entities.

Compliance and regulatory: Helen has been working with BVI regulated entities for over 22 years, including trust companies, insurance, funds and most recently entities falling under the VASP legislation. She holds FSC approved directorships and Compliance Officer / MLRO positions for various types of regulated entity. Helen has been an FSC licensed BVI Insolvency Practitioner since 2018. 

Accounting: Since qualifying at Deloitte in London and two years’ auditing at KPMG in the BVI, accounting experience has included fund administration, insurance and forensic accounting and more recently accounting for crypto / de-fi entities.
